From GeorgiaDogs.com: GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- Andy Landers secured his 700th victory at Georgia on Thursday night and Ashley Houts and Tasha Humphrey made sure it was a win he would not soon forget. The No. 17-ranked Lady Bulldogs (16-3, 3-2) started quickly and rolled to an 82-55 win over Florida (13-6, 2-2).

Houts poured in a career-high 25 points -- 21 of those in the first half when she single-handedly scored as many points as the Gators -- and Humphrey added 23 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

"Was that No. 700 against Florida or No. 700 overall," Landers quipped. "The thing that pleases me most is that we've been able to do it all at Georgia. We haven't jumped around. I've been fortunate to have a lot of great people and a lot of great people surrounding me in Athens. That's what I and my family are most thankful for."

Landers improved to 41-7 all-time against Florida.

Houts added six rebounds, six assists and five steals, while Humphrey chipped in a game-high eight rebounds. Angel Robinson chipped in 10 points.

"He's the main reason so many of us chose to come to Georgia, not only now but throughout his career," Houts said. "To play for him when he won his 700th -- and to play for him every game -- is an honor."

Brittaney Thomas scored 18 points off the bench to lead Florida.

Humphrey scored the Lady Bulldogs' first eight points of the contest as Georgia opened up an 8-4 lead. Following a Gator bucket, Megan Darrah and Houts connected on consecutive three-pointers to begin a 20-2 run that eventually pushed the Lady Dogs' advantage to 28-8 with 6:29 remaining in the half.

Georgia held the Gators without a field goal for a span of 10:37 before Thomas hit a three-pointer. Florida closed within 14 points on a Thomas steal and lay-up with 2:46 remaining before the Lady Dogs closed the stanza on an 11-3 surge.

Houts was fouled with 25.8 seconds left in the half and Sha Brooks was assessed a technical foul for throwing the ball in disgust. Houts hit four straight free throws -- the two technical shots and both ends of a one-and-one -- to wrap up her explosive half.

The lead eventually grew to 34 points on two occasions in the second half.

The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Sunday when they step out of SEC action and travel to face Oklahoma in an ESPN2 nationally televised matchup at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Georgia's next home game is next Thursday when the Lady Bulldogs will host Kentucky at Stegeman Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tickets to that contest are $5 for adults and $3 for youth and are available both at www.georgiadogs.com and at the UGA ticket office in the Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall. Tickets also will go on sale the day of the game at 5:30 at Stegeman Coliseum.
