From GeorgiaDogs.com: ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia football head coach Mark Richt announced at his weekly press luncheon Tuesday that the team’s seniors have requested that all fans wear black to Saturday’s game against Auburn, set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff to be televised nationally on CBS.

“The seniors asked me to encourage the Bulldog Nation to wear black to Saturday’s game,” Richt commented. “I asked them why, and they said it would be cool and a great sign of unity.”

Added junior tight end Tripp Chandler, “This could be something really cool if everyone participates. Fans have to commit to it though. We can’t have just students doing it or just the alumni or half and half. Everybody has to do it.”
