After months of preliminary voting by UGA alumni, friends and fans, UGA Head Football Coach Mark Richt has been selected as a finalist in Liberty Mutual's 2007 Coach of the Year contest, which is awarded to the college football coach who most embodies the characteristics of responsibility and excellence on and off the field.
Richt is currently in third place and it is up to the Bulldog nation to vote every day between now and Dec. 15 [4] to make sure he is named the 2007 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year.
