From an email I received:

The UGA Alumni Association is asking alums around the country to help various organizations as part of the "Workin' Like A Dawg" campaign! Greenville area alums will be partnering with Habitat For Humanity - Greenville. Habitat will be having their annual "Woman Build - Steeplechase 5K" to be held on Saturday, April 16, 2005 and there are two ways to help.

You can take part in the race by signing up and hitting the pavement or you can simply show up to the course and cheer on the participants. Habitat has assured me that both are equally important. For registration information please visit:

http://www.habitatgreenville.org/women/index9.html

Whether you are running/walking in the race or heading out to cheer on the group, please send your mailing address and T-shirt size to Ryan Cheek at rcheek@uga.edu as the UGA Alumni Association will supply you with a "Workin' Like A Dawg" T-shirt to wear out to the event. For those that choose to run/walk the race, you'll be getting two t-shirts for the day, one from us and one from the Steeplechase 5K!
