Homecoming Parade. Sponsored by the University Union. 6:30 PM. Downtown Athens. Contact: 542-6396, jillt@uga.edu .

'Dawg Eat Hawg' Homecoming Barbeque. Sponsored by the UGA Alumni Association. Dawg-gone good barbeque accompanied by bluegrass music from the Hog Mountain Boys. Special appearance by Hairy Dawg and the cheerleaders. $10/person for Alumni Association members and their immediate family, $15 for non-members, children under 12 free. Registration and payment deadline is Oct. 17. 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Wray-Nicholson House. Contact: dfjohn@uga.edu, 706-542-2251 .

Vince Dooley book signing. Sponsored by UGA Bookstore. Dooley will be signing his newly released autobiography, Dooley: My 40 Years at Georgia. Friday, October 21st from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M., and Saturday, October 22nd from 9 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Through Saturday, October 22, 2005. UGA Bookstore.
