UGA Football Ralphie to travel to Sanford Stadium for the CU game!

According to the Daily Camera, Ralphie, the Colorado mascot, will travel to Sanford Stadium for the September 23rd game. Kudos to both schools' ADs for making this happen! We look forward to seeing one of the most famous mascots in college football.
A romp between the hedges

Two of the most recognizable mascots in college sports will share the same football field Sept. 23 when CU travels to play at Georgia.

Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn said his counterpart at Georgia, Damon Evans, has agreed to allow Ralphie to make the trip to Athens, Ga., for the Buffs' game against the Bulldogs in historic Sanford Stadium.

Ralphie will lead the Buffs on the field between the hedges just as she does before home games and after halftime, Bohn said. Four of Ralphie's handlers will drive her more than 1,500 miles to get to the game. Other handlers will meet her there.

In return, Bohn invited Evans to bring Uga the Bulldog to Boulder in 2010 when the series returns to Folsom Field.
