2008 Game Two - Central Michigan Preview

Well, the final score wasn’t exactly representative of the way we dominated that game. Up 38-0 late, we gave up some late TDs against our backups to end with a somewhat underwhleming yet still convincing 45-21 win. It ended up being a very similar score to the 48-28 victory in 2004. Up next is a team with a scary offense and defense in Central Michigan. Scary good offense, scary bad defense. It’ll be the last hurdle before we hit the SEC schedule and the competition really ramps up.

2008 Game One - Georgia Southern Preview

Well, it’s here…no need to say much here, we’re #1 in the country. If we can somehow pull off a 14-game win streak we’ll have a lovely crystal football as a parting gift. Is that too much to ask? According to national pundits if we win out we might play our way into the NFC playoffs due to our schedule strength, but a team bred in the heat of the SEC and particularly the SEC-East if nothing else should be ready for a tough schedule. It’s going to be fun, sit back and enjoy…

I'm still doing cleanup and updates on the website due to the recent upgrade. I've recently updated the Blog Listings page with Chip Towers' Beat Writer blog from the AJC, and I switched out David Ching's blog with David Hale's. Hale is the new UGA beat writer for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and Macon Telegraph. If there are any other blogs that you would like to see added to this list, please let me know either through Feedback or by commenting in this article. The only requirement is that the blog must be updated at least weekly.

From GeorgiaDogs.com: The University of Georgia Athletic Association has released the following cumulative score requirements that determine eligibility of William C. Hartman Jr. Fund contributors to purchase available 2008 Georgia Football Renewable Season Tickets, Single Game Home Tickets, and Away Game Tickets. A cumulative score is attained by each contributor on the basis of lifetime giving to the Hartman Fund (formerly GSEF and GEEF). The “cut-off” scores are established by arranging all Hartman Fund contributors in cumulative score order and fulfilling ticket orders based on availability.

The Anti-Orange Page is currently going through an upgrade, so please bear with the website until all data can be moved over. The Graphics Gallery is still under construction. If you've registered for an account the past few days (from July 6th to the 10th), you probably will need to re-register.
If you see any other problems, please let me know. Thanks for your patience!
